Bangkit is a Google-led academy designed to produce high-calibre, technical talent for world-class, Indonesian technology companies and startups. This year, Bangkit is offered as an approved Kampus Merdeka program supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. We’re enrolling up to 3,000 university students across 3 learning paths to help them grow in-demand skills in tech throughout the even semester of 2022. Applicants must complete all four sections in order to be considered for Bangkit 2022. Once you have completed all four sections you will receive an email confirmation.
Upon completion, you will receive an email containing a copy of your Application Form (confirmation of the application).
Closing Date: January 14th, 2022. The application form may be closed earlier if the quota has been fulfilled.
Eligible candidates will get a Dicoding Token for Assessment purpose.

Yes. As an inclusive program, Bangkit also accepts Student from Universities that is not under of Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (MoECRT)- such as UIN under Ministry of Religion Affairs, STMM MMTC under Kominfo, STMKG under BMKG – as long as it’s approved by the university (Students’ involvement, SKS Credits, etc).
Students from Universities Under MoECRT will have to go through additional process of registering thru Kampus Merdeka Platform.
Applicants were considered for acceptance into Bangkit based on the entirety of their application including all eligibility criteria. Due to the number of applicants, we were unable to accept all applicants. Only completed applications (including university/faculty approvals, commitment letter, and administratively complete applicants) were considered for selection.
Due to eligibility requirements for Kampus Merdeka, we regret to inform you that you are ineligible to be considered for Bangkit 2022 unless you are an active undergraduate student that finished 5 semesters of study or more. However, your university has the final say on eligibility and anyone who meets the requirements for admission will be given equal consideration.
If you have already been certified on one or more of these certifications, you may still be eligible for Bangkit 2022, but you will only be considered for learning paths other than those for which you have been certified for.
No. Students may only enroll in one learning path per year.
The application assessments will be used to evaluate your preparedness to become an active, engaged learner in Bangkit. Your results will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility and qualifications for successfully participating in this rigorous program.

There are no penalty for wrong answers.
Assessments can be done up to the application deadline – 31 December 2021. But we encourage you to finish the assessment as early as possible so that you have additional time to obtain approval from your University and possibly accepted earlier.
Faculty Approval can be submitted up to the application deadline 31 December 2021. But we do really encourage you to start obtaining approval from your University as soon as possible, just to be sure.
